Just a reminder that the memory café is now open twice a month on the second and fourth Thursdays from 10.30 – 12.30 at the Methodist Church at the top of Mill Street.
During May the Café members enjoyed a number of activities including a game of bingo and a ‘guess the tune’ quiz.
In June we will be having a ‘chair exercise’ session run by Renata who is quite a favourite at the café. The second session in June will be cancelled due to the Methodist church being used as a Polling station for the EU referendum.
In July we will be looking forward to a sing-a-long with Theresa.
You don’t have to have dementia to come and join us – there are various reasons for memory loss – stroke, head trauma or age related memory loss. If you have any concerns about your memory you can talk to a NHS professional about your concerns and get advice and guidance.
